Edmonton Oil Kings stumble out of the gate

Hey folks,
I'm back and last night I was at the Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL) season opener last night and well, it wasn't exactly the start the team wanted. 10 minutes into the game and the Red Deer Rebels were up 3-0. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (does that name sound familiar?) probably the next best north American prospect in all of hockey scored also scored and the only real saving grace for the Oil Kings was that the leading scorer on the team from last year Michael St.Croix scored to make it somewhat respectable as the game ended 4-1.

Hopefully the Oil Kings can get some revenge tonight as they take on Red Deer again this time in Red Deer.

That's all for now I'm Avry and I'm gone!
