Dwayne Roloson the Iron Man and Ryan Moats

Well folks my favorite NHL team the Edmonton Oilers, are in the thick of the things in the playoff race, (in 9th place in the western conference 1 point out of a playoff spot) and they are taking on the Anahiem Ducks tonight and are starting for the 31st straight game their 39 year old goalie Dwayne Roloson! Now you might think that "39 year old goalie making over 30 straight starts?! is the starter injured?" Dwayne Roloson is the starting goalie for the Oil. Roli as he is called by many in the NHL is like fine wine, he gets better with age, right now at age 39 his goals aganist average is 2.76 not too bad for a guy that broke into the NHL at age 26. One problem with Roli the goalie is that he may burnout, well he didnt burn out when the Oilers made it to the 2006 stanley cup finals vs the Carolina Hurricanes, he was injured in game 1 and if he was healty for the entire series the Oilers would have brought the cup back to Canada. Can Roli and the Oil duplicate that 2006 magic, as a die hard Oiler fan and one that follows trends from now and back from 2006, I say yes he can.
Before I finish I want to talk about what happened to Houston Texans Running Back Ryan Moats and his wife. Moats and his wife, were driving to a hospital in Dallas to see his wife's dying mother and apparently he broke a red light. The police officer that pulled him over did not immeditly give Moats a ticket which is what he asked for so he could get down to the hospital to see his dying mother in law. The officer, Robert Powell said to Moats "I dont care" and "I can screw you over" when Moats was telling him about the story, the officer refused to let Moats go into to hospital but did eventually let him wife go in. Ryan Moats did not get a chance to say goodbye to his mother in law before she died.
Officer Robert Powell showed absolutly no class in the situation, nor did he show that he is capable of using common sense.
To read more about this here is a link to the story.
